A pair of Aesthetic movement side chairs in ebonised beech with caned seats. Beautifully balanced light design with fine detailing. Godwin was an Archetect Designer of the Aesthetic period 1860-1890 in Britain he was an advocate of the Anglo - Japanese design principle and these two chairs fit into that category.
