A charming pair of antique cast iron garden chairs in the ornate Victorian style, showcasing beautifully detailed craftsmanship typical of late 19th-century English or French foundries. Each chair features a round pierced seat with a sunburst motif and a scrolling openwork backrest framed within an oval medallion of floral and rococo design. The cabriole legs terminate in paw feet with acanthus leaf embellishments, a hallmark of fine Victorian ironwork. Finished in their original aged red paint, the surface now exhibits a beautifully weathered patina with traces of earlier green and white layers visible beneath.
