A very good looking well-made and decorative pair of chairs, they were made as hall chairs in the mid Victorian era and remain popular today for anyone who knows fine English furniture
They have handles on the top as mentioned which rotate and swivel, its very handy when you are moving the chairs
We have cleaned waxed and polished them from every angle, the frames have been checked and secured as required they are in lovely period order throughout with some light patina marks consummate with genuine age and honest use.
Please note the second chair is missing the carving at the bottom of the back rest and both chairs are missing some of the round wood hole covers on the sides. I can have the pair fully restored with all losses replaced for approximately five hundred pounds

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
