A pair of early 19th C. English late Regency or William IV mahogany hall chairs with shaped backs and solid seats, each centered by a hand-painted family crest. The backs feature scroll-cut profiles with turned roundels, and the chairs stand on turned front legs with square rear supports. The pair is closely matched in form, surface, and scale.
