About the Item

A pair of English Georgian late 18th century mahogany side chairs, each with a shaped and well-carved crestrail over a carved central open splat, the drop in seats covered in striped fabric all supported by square legs. These chairs have good scale, sit well and are quite comfortable. Circa 1790.
