A striking pair of sculptural “Karina” chairs designed by J. Mancini and Gaby Fois-Dorell and produced by Sawaya
Moroni in Milan in the late 1990s.
The distinctive fan-shaped backrest and tapered legs create a refined, architectural silhouette, typical of the bold, postmodern Italian design language of the period.
Finished in a deep indigo blue lacquer, these chairs offer a strong visual presence and function as both seating and standalone sculptural objects within an interior.
Condition: Good vintage condition. Minor surface wear may be present, consistent with age and careful use. Structurally stable and visually impressive.
