On offer on this occasion is a rare, identical, original pair of "Barcelona" Chairs, from the world renown furniture house of Knoll Studio, dressed in their sublime Pale-Ivory "Volo Leather", and with Polished Chrome framework. As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this Mies Van Der Rohe-designed masterpiece, Knoll Studio pieces are the epitome of contemporary furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard. In a world of temporary pleasures, Knoll Studio create beautiful furniture that remains a joy forever, and there can be few more-beautiful examples of this timeless icon of design than this. This pair is in superb, immaculately-maintained condition, reflecting the infrequent employment it has seen in the past, and is entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. Its beautiful order reflects the TLC and remarkably considerate-use afforded it in the past but, as you should realistically expect from a leather of this nature and colour, there are a small number of light, minor superficial-blemishes to be found across the the seat and back, but certainly nothing that catches the eye overly, or compromises the beauty of this stunning example one jot. Clearly not truly showroom-perfect, but not far off and, in my experience, i suspect as good as you could ever hope to find. Please view the images provided closely to confirm its incredible condition and appearance. Handsome in the extreme, and benefitting from an effortlessly-elegant and flexible leather choice which only serves to increase its personality, practicality and longevity.
