About the Item
Lovely pair of Louis XVI style Montgolfiere side chairs. They are characterized by a distinctive hot air balloon-shaped backrest - or Montgolfiere. The frame of the chair is painted: a soft green with red and gilded accents. The seat of the chair appears to be upholstered in a red Moire silk fabric. This pair is a reproduction of the Louis XVI style original Montgolfiere chair. This set was produced in Florence Italy, most likely in the late 1970s by Buying and Design in Florence, Italy. They are stunning and in gently used condition.
