A pair of Swedish Second Gustavian-style barrel back chairs with hand-carved giltwood frame. The saber-form legs support arched back and apron with hand-carved and composition giltwood leaf detail. Newly upholstered in Fortuny fabric Simboli, in the colorway Bamboo Jungle and Gold. Circa 1880.
