About the Item

Pair of tripod chairs made entirely of fiberglass, finished in a vivid, deep yellow lacquer. Their sculptural silhouette and taut lines reflect Walter Frey's formal explorations in the late 1960s, a period defined by material experimentation and a fascination with organic shapes. Lightweight and expressive, these chairs capture the playful and optimistic spirit of late 1960s pop design. Good vintage condition with traces of use. Switzerland circa 1968
