About the Item

A good pair of rosewood library armchairs. Upholstered in figured blue material with loose squab seat cushions, the chairs have tall, shaped and curved backs with outswept lyre-shaped arms with acanthus carved scrolling above a carved apron with foliate detail and paterae to either end, lobed and turned baluster legs with brass round cup castors.
