About the Item

The iconic four-legged chair model S34 in solid elm was designed by French designer Pierre Chapo in 1973. Characterised by its bundled legs and its asymmetrical backrest and polygonal seat. This chair is made by 'Chapo Creation', the artisan company of the son and grandson of Pierre Chapo, based in the South of France, who make the official reissues of Chapo's designs. This handmade production is made to the exact standards as the early productions in the same materials and techniques. Each piece of furniture is made to order and is individually branded.
