About the Item

A small chair (or stool or child's chair) of primitive form and construction. The elm plank seat is joined through with three stick legs. The back consists of an ash top rail joined through with two flat uprights and one central turned spindle. With later strap metal repair braces under the seat securing the back. Terrific figuring to the timber. Retaining an exceptional color and patina.
