About the Item

The model 147 chair designed by Peter Hvidt Orla Molgaard Nielsen for France and son, is one of the most graceful Danish Modern chairs. A combination of the very expressive fluid lines of the frame with the rattan backrest allowing light to pass gives the chair a wonderful aesthetic. This armchair is the very rare back-braid version, in teak and rattan, with the high-quality workmanship and the typical Scandinavian design of the 1950s. The rattan has just been professionally re-woven and the cushion has been original.
