Designed by Helge Vestergaard-Jensen and crafted by master cabinetmaker Søren Horn, this Danish rocking chair is a sculptural icon. The frame is made from solid Cuban mahogany—rich, warm, and now virtually extinct. The original black leather upholstery is buttery soft and perfectly preserved.
Every curve and joint is masterfully executed. Vestergaard-Jensen’s work stands shoulder to shoulder with Hans Wegner, Finn Juhl, Johannes Hansen, and Niels Vodder—but pieces like this are far rarer.
Stamped by Søren Horn and maintained in museum-quality condition, this is a once-in-a-lifetime acquisition for serious collectors.
