Red and blue chair Gerrit Rietveld Cassina edition Vintage Red and blue chair by Dutch designer Gerrit Rietveld. Produced since 1973 by Italian manufacturer Cassina. Stamped on the frame with the manufacturer's mark and serial number, also present on the certificate of authenticity. Gerrit Rietveld designed it in 1918. This armchair is part of the Dutch De Stijl movement, characterized by rigorous abstraction of lines and colors. Functional and rational design. The Red and Blue Chair has been a design icon for over 100 years. The frame is made of solid black-stained beech wood, with yellow lacquered ends. The seat and backrest are made of durable red and yellow polyester-lacquered birch plywood. Excellent condition. Dimensions in cm: Width 65.5 Length 83 Height 88 Seat height 33
