Regence Beechwood Caned Fauteuil, France, 18th century, the foliate carved top rail above the caned back rest, sided by volute scrolled arms raised on shaped supports, the caned, serpentine seat with custom cushion above a conforming seat rail with similar ornamentation to the top rail, raised on cabriole legs and terminating in scrolled feet on platforms. Having a deep teal mohair cushion,ht. 36 1/2, wd. 25, dp. 20, seat ht. 17 1/2 in.
