About the Item
This gorgeous Rosewood and Cane Chair was designed and produced by the Brazilian company Fatima Arquitetura Interiores (FAI) in the 1960s. The pieces are composed of solid Rosewood, with large slats perfectly fitted.
Some details that are worth highlighting are the angled seats and backrests, which are also slightly curved to embrace the user’s body comfortably, and the charming pointed details at the top of the backrests.
Fatima Arquitetura Interiores (FAI) was created in 1960 by architects Guilherme Nunes and Sávio Visconti in Rio de Janeiro. The company intended to function as the union between architecture, decoration, and art, having a gallery space that housed artistic manifestations related to architecture.
These Rosewood and Cane dining chairs were restored in out Workshop by skilled professionals.

- Condition:Rewoven. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. The pieces are in very good vintage condition. The wood was refinished with imported shellac varnish, and received new natural cane.
