The anatomical design of the seat, combined with the natural elasticity of the cantilevered backrest, creates a lounge chair that is equally comfortable and elegant. Today, Afra and Tobia Scarpa's work is part of the collection of many museums worldwide and has been exhibited in countless temporary exhibitions. One of those iconic pieces, permanently on display at MoMA in New York, is the 925 Scarpa lounge chair. About the manufacturer: Karakter is a Danish design company founded on a spirit of exploration, courage and an uncompromising attitude to quality. Rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition with an international outlook, Karakter presents a portfolio of furniture, lighting and objects that is relevant, honest, expressive and sometimes playful.
