In the Cesca chair by Marcel Lajos Breuer for Gavina you can find the top of Made in Italy quality. This work by the austrian designer presents a modern and unmistakable line, which has left a mark in the history of design. The Cesca chair by Breuer has crossed the whole history of twentieth century design. Its size and lightness make it versatile model that satisfies the taste of all entfhusiasts. Cesca is confortable chair, light and balanced at the same time, without sacrificing style. Frame in tubular steel and set and back in hand stuffed beech.
Cesca is a chair made in 1929, when using metal to create interior furnishing was unthinkable. A precursor along with other design greats, Breuer created this chair by bending a tubolar steel, since it is a cold material, he embellished the chair with the ancient straw-weaving technique, with Vienna straw. The resulti is amazing. A timeless chair that discreetely enters homes or offices, giving character and class.
