About the Item

the comfortable office. dutch designer friso kramer presented an impressive range of modern furniture in the 50’s. you may know the „revolt“ and „result“ series – and this is the more comfortable office version of both of them, turning any conference room into a resort (hence the name, probably). the sturdy metal frame make the chair relatively robust, even in continuous use. the look is unapologetically futuristic industrial. marked with the „ahrend de cirkel“ stamp at the back of the chair. the frames shows an even, pronounced patina. the chairs have been reupholstered and covered with a fine cotton canvas fabric that matches the exact colour of the frame: a slightly dirty, light grey. This unusual choice of fabric and colour gives the chairs an unprecedented technical elegance.
