About the Item
This set of four radar chairs was made in Belgium during the 1950s. The design is often attributed to Willy Van Der Meeren, though this attribution has never been confirmed. The chairs are featured in Les Intérieurs 50, the first Belgian written book about fifties design. Until today the designer of these chairs remains unidentified.
The chairs have a black painted metal frame and lacquered wooden seats in red and blue. the chairs stand in a good, original vintage condition.
