This is a set of four vintage ladder back chairs. An Irish, mahogany carver and seat, dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1940. Resplendent in Irish Chippendale revival taste Generously wide in profile, affording comfortable seating Displaying a desirable aged patina throughout Select mahogany presents mellow caramel hues Upholstered in patinated caramel leather Pierced ladder back with sinuous forms following the 'Chippendale ear' top rail Carver offers delightful arms with scrolled knuckles Press stud trim accentuates the seat rail of each chair Raised upon square section front legs, gently splayed to rear - united by H-stretcher This is a delightful set of vintage ladder back chairs, with appealing revival overtones of the Chippendale manner. Pleasingly weathered leather can be reupholstered to individual taste. Delivered waxed, polished and ready to enjoy.
