About the Item
This hard to find set of 6 chairs, model ST 14, represents the modernist idea of the Bauhaus in an more elegant way.
Designed in 1931 for DESTA Berlin, later Thonet, Hans Luckhardt create this elegant but not very easy to fabricate tubular steel chair. Because of the expensive and complicated production not really a huge number of this model were sold.
Thonet reproduced these chairs for only a short period, circa 1984.
These chairs coming in the original high quality black leather upholstery.
