This rare set of six sculptural chairs was originally created in 1995 by Guido Coletti, a Friulian artist known for his work in neo-Dadaism and combined art. Each piece is hand-decorated and was personally signed in 2013 by the artist for a special event. The chairs function both as seating and as artistic objects: when aligned, their heart-shaped backrests form a colorful, abstract composition-playful and poetic, in true Coletti style.
Each chair is a unique piece, decorated with vivid collage work made from salvaged materials, layered paint, and reclaimed images. The aesthetic is distinctly Pop Art, with vibrant tones and graphic elements that evoke a hand-made take on Rauschenberg's "combine" technique.
