About the Item

This model is called Z-chair. Designed in 1968 in the GDR by Ernst Moeckl and Siegfried Mehl, German Version of the Panton chair. Also called kangoroo chair or variopur chair. Produced in eastern Germany. Chairs are after renovation - new semi glossy Bottega Venetta inspired green color lacquer. Timeless form of the chair make them more unique. Extremely stabile and comfortable! Only 3 sets available. We can prepare them also in another RAL/Pantone color.

Four Green Chairs 771 by Joseph André Motte, Steiner, 1958 Set of 4 chairs model 771, it is often called "the tongue chair" because of its design. It was published by Steiner in 1958. The vintage velvet of the chairs is authentic, so it may have some defects due to its age but still in very good condition. Joseph-André Motte (1925 - 2013) was an interior architect and one of the great figures of French design in the 1950s and 1960s. At the École des arts appliqués à l'industrie (now ENSAAMA), he studied under René Gabriel, Louis Sognot and Albert Guénot, graduating top of his class in 1948.
