About the Item

Set of four rare sculptural chairs designed by Bo Fjaestad for Arvika Konsthantverk, Sweden, 1930s. Crafted in pine with a beautiful original patina, these chairs feature a distinctly brutalist expression while embodying the rustic yet refined character of Scandinavian design from the period. Their sculptural form makes them as striking as they are functional. The chairs were acquired directly from Bo Fjaestad’s studio by the previous owners in the mid-20th century, adding a unique provenance to the set. A matching dining table by Bo Fjaestad is also available, sold separately.
