About the Item
A family of three abstract ladderback chairs from the art furniture movement of the late 20th century. These sculptural yet sturdy and functional seats are signed King and dated 1993. Most likely by the Idaho artist Donald King who works in a freeform rustic Adirondack style. They bear an intriguing resemblance to the “Baby Bow Tie Chair” of his exemplar Daniel Mack and may have been an early experimentation in alternate materials.
Tallest chair measures: 74" high, 22.5" wide, 16" deep, 21.5" seat height.
Middle chair measures 62.5" high, 19" wide, 19.5" deep, 19" seat height.
Smallest chair measures 32.5" high, 15" wide, 11.5" deep, 11.5" seat height.
