About the Item

Chairs designed by Prof. Rajmund Halas. It is JAR type model. Made of beechwood. Chairs are after a complete upholstery renovation, the woodwork has been refreshed. Seat and back is dressed in a blue and white, durable and pleasant to the touch velvet fabric. Chairs are stable and very shapely. Chairs were produced in former furniture factory in Goleniów in the 1960s. We can prepare this set in every color of wood and fabric.

One of the most recognizable chairs from the Polish PRL period, produced in the 1960s in Goscininskie Furnitures Factory. Chairs type 299, commonly called Boomerang due to the very original and characteristic shape of the legs. They have undergone a comprehensive renovation. Beech wood thoroughly cleaned of old varnish and protected with colorless wood wax, which gave the surface a velvety coating. Upholstery and filling replaced. Upholstery fabric in the color of blue and white was used in this renovation. This is a sketchy textured fabric comprising rich melange tones in linen and cotton.
