Nice and very rare original William Hands 1952-1977 Silver Jubilee anniversary edition Queen Elizabeth II Peers chair with Limed oak frame a premium royal blue velvet upholstery finished with gold threaded Queens crest Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, for an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll price it up for you A lovely piece made in tribute to the originals used in Westminster Abbey for the Peers to sit and observe the coronation, I have listed under my other items an original King George VI Peers chair and matching stool and a pair of early King George V stools which we used for the not so important guests This piece is in fine showroom condition, there are some very light marks to the back just above the dedication plaque, otherwise the luxury royal blue velvet is in fine form throughout Each chair is serial numbered and this one is number 1688 The chairs were made by William Hands of High Wycombe WILLIAM HANDS Our process starts with a single sheet of white paper, every mark a statement, every thought witnessed, every stroke adding meaning to a moment in time.
