About the Item

Refined Victorian armchair from the 19th century, upholstered with hand-patinated sheep leather in a warm caramel tone that beautifully highlights the soft natural texture of the surface. The leather has been treated with open-pore techniques, allowing the material to breathe and adapt comfortably to body temperature in both summer and winter. The backrest features intricate floral and scroll carvings, showcasing the sophisticated craftsmanship typical of high Victorian furniture. Its sculptural form, combined with the elegant proportions and the slightly curved armrests, gives the piece a noble yet inviting character. The front legs are turned and fitted with small brass castors, while the back legs are gently curved, ensuring stability and elegance from every angle. This armchair offers excellent seating comfort and makes a striking addition to both traditional and contemporary interiors. It has been carefully restored, retaining its authentic charm, and is presented in very good condition with a subtle, even patina consistent with its age.
