About the Item

Listed for sale are two (sold separately) authentic La Chaise lounge chairs by Charles and Ray Eames for Vitra. These were produced circa 2005 and carry original Vitra labels. This design was developed as a fiberglass prototype during the life of Charles and Ray Eames. The prototypes and drawings have been exhibited and written about extensively in scholarly articles/books. As an authorized manufacturer, the Eames office worked closely with Vitra to introduce a production example aligned with the wishes of Charles and Ray Eames. The price listed is for one Vitra La Chaise. Two are available.
