About the Item

This Charles II period chaise lounge boasts intricate walnut craftsmanship, featuring pierce carving with scalloped shells, foliage scrolls, and flowers on its stretchers. The back panel is adorned with a barley sugar twist and caned detailing. Although original in most parts, the upholstery rails were replaced in the 18th century and it now sports new linen upholstery, enhancing its timeless appeal.
