An exceptional rare and important Chaise lounge prototype by Canadian Artist/Designer Donald Lloyd McKinley.
This example was made for personal use and the template for future production. Only a few examples were created. Way before his time with this design. The faceted construction was very early as this type of design was mostly brought into use in the early 1990s.
A structurally beautiful example. Perfect scale and dimension .
Donald Lloyd McKinley was a furniture maker, educator and designer who established the School of Crafts and Design at Sheridan College.
