An iconic original and authentic ‘Soriana’ lounge chair and ottoman designed by Afra Tobia Scarpa and produced by Cassina, Italy, 1969. This award-winning design, recipient of the Compasso d’Oro in 1970, is celebrated for its bold, sculptural form and innovative construction, where the oversized cushions are held in place by a sleek chrome-plated steel clamp. This example is in wonderful condition, retaining its original character and comfort. A striking and collectible piece of 20th-century Italian design, embodying the Scarpas’ vision of modern luxury and Cassina’s master craftsmanship.
