A stunning pair of double sided cane club chairs, circa 1970. Handsome large scale ebony form with faux-bamboo detail accented in gold leaf; subtle Klismos leg detail. Heavy, expertly crafted and aged to absolute perfection. Stout and comfortable - intended for heavy routine use. Organic jewelry designed to highlight an important space. Excellent Restored Condition. The chairs have been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered. The finish demonstrates a rich tone, warmth and depth. All cane is pristine; intact and complete.
