About the Item
Sublime large scale Danish club or lounge chair made in the early 1940's as model 1518 by Fritz Hansen. This model chair seen in Fritz Hansen's 1942 catalog is superbly comfortable with a very strong presence to anchor any room. The existing red mohair was added at a later point and remains in very good, clean usable condition. Great overall condition - solid and sturdy.
We are able to offer re-upholstery services for these chairs at very competitive prices and are able to re-upholster in shearling and lambswool (see enclosed photo for example).. It can also be reupholstered without fringe and the diamond pattern in the backrest - we can do smooth, channels or tufting instead.
