A French Leather Club Chair ‘Normandie’ Model Circa, 1920 Stylish, angular, and cool, this one’s a bit of a stunner. A very rare model that exudes quality and elegance. The leather used has certainly been carefully selected from the top drawer. It’s very nice to offer this chair having possibly not seen one ever before. It still retains its original velvet cushion. It is most certainly artisan made. This is a special chair. All the necessary seatwork has been done, so this chair can be used and enjoyed for generations to come. We've been sourcing and selling early 20th Century and antique French furniture for 20 years. All of our pieces are sympathetically restored. We specialise in original, French, leather club chairs. Even though our stock is quite consistent, finding original club chairs in a very good, original condition is a constant challenge. With our partners in France, we are always on the lookout and our chairs can be found anywhere from a local brocante to a chateau sale, from the north to the south of France. In our experience, nearly all the chairs will need attention to the springs, after all they're not just objects of beauty, they are to be used.
