About the Item

A beautiful pair of solid rosewood and upholstered club chairs from a New York City estate. Designed by Hans Olsen for C/S Mobler, Denmark. The chairs feature a solid rosewood frame, curved arms and legs. The upholstery consists of a very clean heavy duty basket weave pattern fabric. The fabric and cushions are in very good condition. Circa 1960. A very comfortable pair of chairs. The chairs measure approximately 28" deep x 30.5" wide x 28" high at the back. Arm height is approximately 20". Seat height is approximately 18". The seat width is approximately 23.5". Approximately 31" high at the top of back cushion. Good overall condition and structurally sound and sturdy. The cushions and fabric are in good shape. The rosewood frame has some minor fading due to age and use. No visible splits or damage to the wood. Some minor losses to front stretchers.
