About the Item

Iconic Kubus club chair designed by Josef Hoffmann in 1910 and faithfully reproduced by Wittmann Möbelwerkstätten (Austria) under exclusive license. This example dates from the first series of Wittmann production, circa 1985–1995, as confirmed by the original Wittmann cloth label and metal plaque still present under the seat. Upholstered in beautiful, supple cognac-brown leather with the characteristic deep quilted “cube” pattern that defines the Kubus series. The frame is made of wood. The feet are ebonized and silver-painted wood. Excellent vintage condition with soft patina to the leather and only minimal signs of use – no tears, no deep scratches, and the leather remains soft and luxurious. The matching Kubus sofa is available in another listing. Dimensions: 28.5" H x 36.75" W x 30.5" D Seat Height: 18"
