Mid-Century Modern pair of vintage freestanding lounge chairs or club chairs cubus like from stitched leather in black color by Johannes Spalt, 1960s Vienna. A pair of fabulous club chairs from black leather with chromed metal legs in rectangular form. These club chairs emphasize the sleek appearance from the Mid-Century Modern era and work wonderfully with all type of interior. Spacious seat with loose cushions invite for relaxing and could be used as freestanding fireplace seatings. This pair of timeless lounge chairs balances comfort and style and are ideal for your living space as well as an office space. Good condition with signs of age and use as leather patina and scratches at the chromed legs. Johannes Spalt ( 1920 - 2010 ) Austrian architect He founded with the architects Wilhelm Holzbauer, Friedrich Kurrent and Otto Leitner the working space arbeitsgruppe 4.
