Dagmar design Karu lounge chair: A pair of reproduction armchairs in the 1940s Danish modern style.
The Karu chair is a contemporary update of a classic design first produced in Finland by the HAIMI OY company in the early 1950s. The inviting curved arms and subtle winged back are the epitome of the post-war Nordic aesthetic. Karu offers perfect proportions for a bedroom or living room chair.
The chair legs are available in oiled oak, fumed oak, or walnut. The chairs are upholstered in luxurious Australian sheepskin available in a range of colours. Other fabric options are also available by request. Examples are upholstered in ‘Off-White’ shearling with custom solid fumed oak ball feet
