Created in England during the 19th century, each of this pair of Regency style Klismos chairs features a horseshoe back adorned with carved scrolling motifs. The upper rail is inlaid with two-toned medallions depicting stylized rosettes and the knees with quadrilobes. The horseshoe back is supported by striking Corinthian columns. The seats are covered with a red fabric decorated with various animals including lions and foxes.
