A Remarkable French Leather Club Chair, Circa 1920’s This exquisite and extremely rare chair is quite the find. The comfort is like nothing else. It has been incredibly preserved and still retains its original velvet cushions. The velvet of the cushion changes according to the different lighting conditions, going from a forest green to an iridescent emerald in full light. This chair is a feast to the eye and in our opinion the most perfect, early single French leather chair you could choose. This is just simply a beautiful chair. We've been sourcing and selling early 20th Century and antique French furniture for 20 years. All of our pieces are sympathetically restored. We specialise in original, French, leather club chairs. Even though our stock is quite consistent, finding original club chairs in a very good, original condition is a constant challenge. With our partners in France, we are always on the lookout and our chairs can be found anywhere from a local brocante to a chateau sale, from the north to the south of France. In our experience, nearly all the chairs will need attention to the springs, after all they're not just objects of beauty, they are to be used.
