A Stunning French Leather Chair, Normandy Model, Circa 1920’s

About the Item

This is a beautiful and extremely rare Normandy model from the 1920’s. This charming an elegant chair has been preserved impeccably. It still retains its original velvet cushion, also in excellent condition whose colour is best described as an olive bronze. The colours on this early example are very pleasing; chestnut being the common theme, which lightens and darkens according to the lighting conditions. This is another special chair, I fear we will not see another one, especially in its first condition. All the necessary seatwork has been done, so this chair can be used and enjoyed for generations to come. Good Luck, bonne chance! In our experience, nearly all the chairs will need attention to the springs, after all they're not just objects of beauty, they are to be used.
