A Very Beautiful French Leather Club Chair Havana Moustache Model Circa 1930’s
This is a wonderful example of an iconic chair, an early moustache model with Cuban cigar arms and a low-slung back. It goes without saying, this early example would have been artisan made for a very fine French furniture house. The hides chosen are of the highest quality, the rich Havana colour is just gorgeous. Also the upholstery work really shows off the artisan’s expertise. This is a beautiful and lovingly preserved chair which has no rips or previous repairs, and all the necessary seatwork has been completed for your comfort. This moustache back is an extremely nice chair and will grace any setting.

We specialise in original, French, leather club chairs. Even though our stock is quite consistent, finding original club chairs in a very good, original condition is a constant challenge. With our partners in France, we are always on the lookout and our chairs can be found anywhere from a local brocante to a chateau sale, from the north to the south of France.
In our experience, nearly all the chairs will need attention to the springs, after all they're not just objects of beauty, they are to be used. In addition, the leather on our chairs is always nourished and the upholstery cleaned.
