About the Item

We are very pleased to offer a pair of lounge chairs attributed to British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens, known for his masterful blending of classical and modern forms. These Napoleon chairs feature gracefully rolled arms, low deep seats, and distinctive scrolled backs that nod to Lutyens’ timeless silhouettes. Upholstered in a refined light sage pinstripe fabric, the chairs rest on tapered mahogany legs with brass front casters—adding both elegance and functionality. The proportions are generous yet tailored, striking a balance between formality and comfort. Perfect for a library, sitting room, or refined lounge space. Please note that one of the chairs has a blemish on the upholstery, visible in the final photos. This does not affect structural integrity; overall, in good vintage condition. Please see all the attached pictures.
