About the Item

A beautiful seating arrangement of two corner chairs. The chairs were made in solid beechwood with original rush seats. This rustic set of antique double railed chairs with Classic bobbin turned legs and cross supports are slightly different. The set has a lower seating height than the nowadays average. This was a typical height for a seating arrangement in a ladies' room. In modern times it would make a great set for use in a children's room. The geometrical shape of the pieces and the airy appearance make this a very stylish set. The set is structurally sound and the cane seats are also in strong and good condition. Dimensions: Corner chair 1: 70 cm/ 27,56 inch high, 43 cm/ 16,93 inch wide and 42 cm/ 16,54 deep, seating height: 38 cm/ 14,96 inch Corner chair 2: 67 cm/ 26,38 inch high, 42 cm/ 16,54 inch wide and 42 cm/ 16,54 inch deep, seating height: 38 cm/ 14,96 inch.
