Elegant French provincial daybed in the Louis XV style, sourced from Provence, France. Hand-crafted from solid painted walnut with sleigh-form ends, each framed in its original intricately carved shape and paint. The carved frame rests on short cabriole legs with floral motifs along the apron and knees, ending in scroll toes. The surface shows a warm patina and characterful signs of age. The daybed has new neutral upholstery to complement its lovely muted neutral gray and pale beige paint colors. A versatile and elegant piece that functions beautifully as a chaise, daybed, or decorative accent in both traditional and eclectic interiors. #8271
