The Bonnie daybed extends the sculptural language of Proisy Studio’s Modern Cowboy collection, a pure, horizontal composition where architecture meets repose.
Sharing the same sweeping lines and material dialogue as the Jim sofa, Bonnie translates their curved geometry into a gesture of calm and clarity.
Its generous three-meter (118 in) length and continuous silhouette express a sense of measured tension: a line between comfort and sculpture, strength and softness.
Devoid of backrest, Bonnie embraces simplicity as a statement, a piece designed to anchor a space through proportion and presence rather than ornament.
Entirely handcrafted in France, Bonnie combines an upholstered solid beech wood frame with polished and varnished brass feet, subtly elevating its form.
The bouclé wool fabric by the French house Nobilis enhances the tactile depth of the piece, revealing the studio’s devotion to material integrity and sensual precision.
Bonnie is part of the Modern Cowboy collection, which revisits and pays tribute to the raw elegance of the American West, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens of refined French savoir-faire.
Within this family of pieces, including the Jim sofa, Jane lounge chairs, and Jessie stools, Bonnie stands as a serene counterpoint: a synthesis of architecture, design, and comfort.
Each Proisy Studio piece is conceived, drawn, and fully handmade in the brand’s workshops in France, by a dedicated team of artisans combining traditional upholstery and modern cabinetmaking techniques.
All creations can be customized upon request, available in a wide selection of fabrics and finishes, as well as COM.
The studio regularly collaborates with interior designers and collectors on bespoke adaptations, ensuring each project receives a tailored expression of Proisy Studio’s craftsmanship and architectural sensibility.
